We Sing Nonetheless

“There are times where I want to speak up through the music about Judaism and antisemitism and there’s times where I just want to be a band. I don’t want to instigate this but there is kind of a need to instigate this.” - Eric Lindberg, Nefesh Mountain

Synopsis

Together, acclaimed musicians Doni Zasloff and Eric Lindberg face the competing challenges of parenthood, marriage, fame, and life on the road equipped only with love, humor, a banjo on their back and a baby bjorn on their front. In the feature film We Sing Nonetheless (w/t), the musical boundary-pushing band Nefesh Mountain navigates what it is to be American and Jewish amidst the resurgence of antisemitic violence in the country.
