Film Screening Toolkit

Want to host a free screening of an Upstander Project film in your community, at your school, or your place of work? Let the resources in this toolkit help!

Step 1: purchase a license

While some of our films are free for personal viewing, public screenings require a purchased license. These licenses vary based on the institution hosting the screening, and the length of time that organization would like to have access to the film. Our educational, community group, and museum licenses are available through our online store. For a corporate license, please reach out to info@upstanderproject.org. Please note, our licenses assume that your screening is free. If you plan to sell tickets, please reach out to us! Your film license fee allows us to continue to make films, provide support for educators, and learning resources for everyone, and we appreciate your support.

Step 2: advertise your screening

Once you have purchased a license to the film, you are ready to schedule your event and start advertising! You can use the images and information in our media kits to make fliers and social media posts.

Step 3: Let us know!

We can help advertise your screening and add it to our Events Calendar. You can tag us on social media using the handle @upstanderproj or send us an email to info@upstanderproject.org with the details and fliers for your screening. After the event, we would love to hear how it went! Send us an email and share with us any reflections, feedback, how many people attended, and photos if you’d like!
