Reciprocity Project Season One
Reciprocity: The way of life that centers mutual exchange and sharing amongst all beings, past, present, and future, seen and unseen, and the Earth.
Synopsis
In Reciprocity Project’s first season, Indigenous filmmakers interpreted encouraged how ‘reciprocity’ is embodied by their communities, with authenticity and freedom, resulting in narratively and artistically distinct films, interweaving additional themes of intergenerational realities, language preservation, land connection, and the joys and challenges of reviving traditions nearly lost to colonialism.
Reciprocity Project is a coproduction of Upstander Project and Nia Tero in association with REI Co-op Studios.
