Following the screening, Esther Anne, Co-founder of Wabanaki REACH; Heather Augustine, Community Education Development Coordinator at Wabanaki REACH, member of the Elsipogtog First Nation of Canada and the daughter of an Indian Residential School survivor; and Carol Wishcamper, Co-chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, will discuss the devastating impact of Maine’s child welfare practices on the Wabanaki people during a Panel Discussion (8:00 PM).
